Basic View Operations

Basic view operations include the changing of Spider Writer user interface features.

Spider Writer has four main workspace views, each of which can be changed from the View menu:

• Document Source
• Design
• Web View
• Document Summary

Seven sidebar views are available from within the Document Source view, each of which can be changed from the View menu:

• Attributes
• Local Files
• Environment
• Tasks
• Script Outline
• Code Snippets
• Thumbnail Viewer

The Special Characters menu option shows/hides the Special Characters window in Document Source view.

The Full Screen command toggles Full Screen mode. In this mode, all sidebars are hidden for maximum work area.

The Split-Screen Browser command shows/hides the Split-Screen Browser in Document Source view.

The Refresh Split-Screen Browser command shows/hides the Split-Screen Browser in Document Source view.
